A Little Dirt Never Hurt

We're finally working on sprucing up our backyard, including putting in a patio, sand box and play structure.  This weekend, we tackled the first step for the play structure - removing all of the sod.  It was messy, hard work, but J had a great time playing with the truckload of worms we uncovered.  Much to my displeasure, V insisted on making snacks of the new sand box and uncovered dirt.  Both kids and parents were in covered in mud by the end of the day and our very resourceful toddlers decided that a "bath" in some mud puddles was an appropriate place to clean up.  Needless to say, they took a second very long soak IN the house.
