First Hike as a Family of 5

The entire crew got out for a nice picnic and hike at Rowe Woods this past Sunday.  The daffodils were in full bloom and the weather was positively perfect.  It was the first time we had all the kids hiking.  They did great, but we probably should have cut it a half an hour shorter as J was exhausted for the last bit.  Of course, if he hadn't run most of the hike, he probably would have been fine. V spent most of the time in the backpack but as soon as she was out, she immediately went to work on savoring the tasty rocks.  C did really well, too, and was a great big brother to J by saving him from certain "doom" a few times.
