First Backpacking Trip with the Kiddos

We took J and V on their first backpacking trip in September to Mammoth Cave, Kentucky.  They were good little hikers and we were very proud of how they handled being introduced to one of mommy's and daddy's favorite past times.  Now, we just need to get them to be able to carry their own gear - those packs were heavy!
